• Die fotografische Illustration wird als lyrikdidaktische Methode vorgestellt, welche in der Lage ist, die Imaginationstätigkeit der Schülerinnen und Schüler zu steigern und damit die Qualität der Interpretationen. Lyrik- und fotodidaktische Erkenntnisse verdeutlichen die Nähe dieses bildgebenden, produktionsorientierten Verfahrens zum Imaginationsprozess, der mittels der Fotografie nach außen getragen und weiterentwickelt werden kann. Die Fotografie als zeitgemäßes Medium entspricht dabei dem Ausdruckswillen und Ausdrucksvermögen der Schülerinnen und Schüler und liefert Spielräume für einen kreativen Dialog zwischen dem lyrischen und dem visuellen Bild. In der praktischen Erprobung werden die Möglichkeiten und Grenzen der Methode ausgelotet und an konkreten Beispielen analysiert, diskutiert und bewertet.
• Photographic illustration is presented as a method of teaching poetry suitable to improve the pupils' imaginative activity and – as a result – to refine the quality of interpretation. Insight into both poetic and photographic didactics shows the proximity of this image-producing, production-oriented method to the process of imagination that can be visualized and developed further. Photography as contemporary medium corresponds to the pupils' will as well as to their ability of expression and gives leeway for a creative dialogue between the lyrical and the visual image. Potential and limitations of the method are sounded out on practical tests. Concrete examples provide the basis for analysis, discussion and evaluation.
