Three-terminal devices

  • A wide variety of superconducting three-terminal devices is described. In order to control the superconducting current in Josephson junctions or source/drain channels, electric field, magnetic field, photo-irradiation, Joule heating, strain, or the injection of quasiparticles/Cooper pairs into the junction or the channel are utilized. These tree-terminal devices may find applications in microwave components and/or high-speed and low-power-consumption computings.
