Geschichte lernen virtuell? – Perspektiven auf Virtual Reality im Geschichtsunterricht

  • The article examines the characteristics of virtual reality from a media-logical and historical perspective and provides an overview of the current state of research in historical didactics on the use of VR applications in the classroom. Subsequently, an empirical study on the beliefs of student teachers of history on the use of VR for historical learning processes is presented. Based on this, a course was developed with the aim of preparing students for the meaningful use of VR in their future lessons in terms of history didactics.
