Assessment of the contribution of preparation for reuse to the goals of a circular economy
- This doctoral thesis delivers insights into the potential of the waste management option preparation for reuse to contribute to the goals of a Circular Economy in policy and academic contexts. In four scientific publications, quantitative analyses as well as assessment approaches, transferable to further areas of interest in the field of waste management and Circular Economy actions, are provided. These findings and approaches can be used by researchers and practitioners to support decision-making on practically appropriate and environmentally favorable End-of-Life pathways. That way, this work presents gradual steps within the pursuit of sustainable development in a transition towards a Circular Economy.
