• Ausgehend vom wissenssoziologischen Begriff der Seinsverbundenheit knüpft dieser Text an feministische, post- und dekoloniale Traditionen an, die die Situiertheit jeglicher Wissensproduktion ins Zentrum stellen. Eine entlang dieser Perspektiven weiterentwickelte Wissenssoziologie wird zwar in ihren andro- und eurozentrischen Prämissen herausgefordert, aber auch als gesellschaftskritisches Programm für die Problematisierung globaler Ungleichheitsverhältnisse gestärkt. Es werden aktuelle post- und dekoloniale Interventionen in das Feld der (deutschsprachigen) Soziologie skizziert, Walter Mignolos Konzept der Körper- und Geopolitik des Wissens vorgestellt sowie Wege zu einer potenziellen Dekolonisierung von Wissen(schaft) erörtert.
• In this text, I argue that the sociology of knowledge will both be challenged and strengthened when being confronted with feminist, post- and decolonial perspectives across the field of sociology and beyond. The example of Walter Mignolo’s concept of a body- and geopolitics of knowledge and a discussion of recent interventions into German sociology offer ways to reconsider the premises and programme of a sociology of knowledge. Acknowledging that (scholarly) knowledge and power have been asymmetrically organized on a global scale since the period of European colonialism and imperialism, reflections about the (im)possibilities of a decolonization of knowledge complete my considerations.
