Recent improvements on the concept of conditional critical regions
- In this paper we introduce the concept of class regions which is superior to most other synchronization concepts. The method abstracts from the concrete (physical) access modes of shared resources and attains a formal view of the access characteristics of resources and critical sections in terms of exclusion properties and priorities.
