• Bisher hat die klassische und die aktuelle Medienpsychologie und Wirkungsforschung zum Medium Fernsehen noch keine allgemein anerkannte, objektive Sprache zur Erfassung psychischer Prozesse kreiert. Mit der Entwicklung eines Rezipienten-Prozess-Systems (RPS) soll ein Methoden-Inventar zur Datenerhebung in der Medienpsychologie erstellt werden - zur kausalen Klärung psychischer Prozesse während des Rezeptionsprozesses. Zwei Ansätze (im Rahmen der Handlungs- und Entscheidungstheorie von Prof. Dr. W. Michaelis und die Persönlichkeitskonstrukttheorie von George A. Kelly) werden in einem System kombiniert, das beschreibt, wie Kinder Fernsehinhalte individuell unterschiedlich interpretieren (abgeleitete Beispiele für Kinder, 5 - 12 Jahre).
• Up to this point, classic and current media-psychology and research have not received any general acknowledgment on the mental process regarding research in watching television. With the development of a Recipient Process System (RPS), there should be a method in media-psychology on collecting data to explain the psychological processes of media-psychology during the reception process. Two important points (in context of a theory of discussion and decision from Prof. Dr. W. Michaelis and the Personal Construct Theory from George A. Kelly) will be combined in a system that explains how children individually interpret television content differently. Given examples are for children between the ages of 5 - 12.
