• In unserem Leben sind wir tagtäglich mit Emotionen konfrontiert, seien es unsere eigenen, die unserer Freunde oder die der Verkäuferin im Supermarkt. Einen emotionsfreien Zustand gibt es nicht. Emotionen drücken wir nicht nur durch Worte aus, die wir sagen, sondern auch durch Gesten, Körperhaltung und Artikulierung. Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Visualisierung von Emotionen durch Farben, Formen und Animationen. Ihr liegt ein Emotionserkennungsprogramm zugrunde, welches anhand des Ausdrucks in der Stimme die Emotion klassifiziert. Zunächst wird der Begriff Emotion definiert und verschiedene Modelle der Emotionstheorie vorgestellt. Anhand von Farb- und Formsymbolik wird schließlich die Visualisierung der Emotionen entworfen. Zum Schluss werden die Visualisierungen in ein Programm integriert, das mit dem Emotionserkenner interagiert.
• In our daily lifes we are faced with emotions all day long. Our emotions, the emotions of our friends, or the emotions of the shop assistant, just to name a few. There is no unemotional situation. We express emotions not only by the words we say, but by gesticulating, body language and articulation. This work is about visualisation of emotions by colours, forms and animations. An emotion-detection-program, which classifies the emotions by the vocal expression, forms the basis of this work. At the beginning the term "emotion" is defined and some different emotion-theory-models are introduced. With the help of the symbolism of colours and forms then the visualisation of the emotions is designed. Finally the visualisations are integrated in a program that interacts with the emotion-detection-program.
