- The historical consciousness of the middle-generation in the countries of east-central-Europe (especially Hungary) is, after the fall of the Berlin-wall, in search of a more open orientation. How can this generation, teaching history, contribute to the identitybuilding of the young generation? A separate study of the European and national history is not the best way to a tolerant citizenship.
