• Im vorliegenden Beitrag geht es um die Möglichkeiten der Verwendung der Diskursanalyse in der Didaktik der Sozialwissenschaften. Der Schwerpunkt der Ausführungen liegt darin, dass für die Berücksichtigung diskursanalytischer Verfahren im methodischen Reservoir der Didaktik vor allem systematische Gründe sprechen. Vor dem Hintergrund eines theoretisch angemessenen Begriffs sozialwissenschaftlicher Bildung wird deutlich, dass die Diskursanalyse bislang dem Grunde nach zu unrecht keine Beachtung in einschlägigen Methodenpools fand. Allerdings bleibt die Aufgabe einer Anpassung diskursanalytischer Verfahren an die schulische Realität bestehen.
• The intention of this paper is to reflect the possibilities of the discourse analysis for the didactics of social sciences. In so doing, the emphasis has to placed on the fact that mainly systematical reasons favor the consideration of discourse-analytic procedures in the methodological reservoirs of didactics. Against the background of a theoretically appropriate concept of social-scientific education, it becomes apparent that there are no good reasons why the discourse analysis has not been considered yet in educational settings. However, the discourse-analytic procedures still have to be adapted to school reality.
