The Isotropy Representations of the Rosenfeld Planes
- There are four symmetric spaces of exceptional type with dimensions 16, 32, 64 and 128 which are called Rosenfeld planes. Their isometry groups are the exceptional Lie groups F_4, E_6, E_7 and E_8. In the present work a construction of the isotropy representations is given which implies a simple construction of the above spaces.
